We’ve partnered with Magenta and artist Angela Staehling to bring you a Plant Life coaster set + notepad that each come with our plantable seed paper packaging.
The Plant Life Collection brings vibrant and playful garden illustrations to everyday items. This line is perfect for the plant lady (or man!) as it incorporates life and greenery into home decor and garden pieces such as planters, bud vases, trinket trays and gardening tools.
Angela Staehling captures her love of the great outdoors from the evergreen-lined mountain tops to the mossy floors of the wooded forests. Her wanderlust spirit is reflected in her whimsical designs as she paints vignettes of a life worth exploring. A longtime illustrator and surface designer, Angela designs collections of dinnerware, stationery, textiles and other home décor products. Plant Life was inspired by simple, quiet settings. The idea of painting little vignettes of plants on shelves, or in everyday settings, just brings a sense of calm and peacefulness to otherwise busy life.

Are you a sucker for beautiful ceramic pieces?
Magenta has lots of Plant Life ceramic goods to pair with your paper.
Plantable seed paper — we believe you should be able to have your paper and plant it too.
The Magenta X Seedlings coaster set and notepad incorporate seed paper packaging. Our seed paper is made up of 100% non-invasive wildflower seeds and can be easily planted with just a few quick steps.
Plantable seed paper is a biodegradable eco-paper that is made with post-consumer materials (no trees harmed for this paper!) and embedded with seeds. When the paper is planted in a pot of soil, the seeds grow and the paper composts away. All that is left behind is flowers.
SEEDS in PACKAGING:
Black Eyed Susan, Catchfly, Corn Poppy, English Daisy, Snapdragon, Sweet Alyssum
Remove sections with glue and soak paper in water overnight.
Fill planter with 2/3 soil + place seed paper inside. Add light layer of soil on top.
Place planter in a sunny spot. Water well for at least 4-6 weeks.
Once you see sprouts, you can choose to transplant to an outdoor area.
